Somatic Coaching

An Inner Journey of Self-discovery, Healing & Transformation

Welcome to my Practice

There is a way home, and it begins with gentle awareness…

This work is an invitation to slow down, to listen inwardly, and to reconnect with the innate wisdom of your body and inner world. It offers a space to meet yourself with kindness and curiosity, and to discover what becomes possible when you are no longer striving to fix or improve, but learning to be present with what is already here.

I am a Hakomi-Informed Somatic Coach, currently deepening my training in the Hakomi Method to become a Hakomi Practitioner. My work is also informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Theory, Buddhist Psychology & Contemplative practice, and my experience as a Meditation and Mindful Self-Compassion teacher.

Hakomi beautifully embodies the principles, qualities, and ways of being that have supported my own journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth. It feels like the truest expression of how I am able to share this work with others—with gentleness, depth, and respect for each person’s unique unfolding.

What is Hakomi Informed Somatic Coaching?

Hakomi is a gentle yet powerful, experiential, mindfulness-based approach to self-discovery and transformation. It invites you to slow down and listen to the wisdom of your body, using present-moment awareness to explore the unconscious beliefs and patterns that shape how you live, feel, and relate.

Many of the struggles we live with today have their roots in patterns—often formed early in life—that once served a valuable purpose in helping us cope, stay safe, or belong. Over time, these ways of being may no longer be necessary or helpful. As these patterns are gently brought into awareness, new possibilities for understanding, choice, and change can begin to open.

How does it work?

Sessions often begin with sharing what is alive for you— what you are feeling, or what you are currently navigating.

Mindfulness & Curiosity: From there, you are invited to slow down, bringing mindful attention to how this is felt and held in the body. Our bodies carry emotional experiences and implicit memories that the thinking mind cannot always reach. Through mindful tracking of sensations, movements, emotions, and inner responses, the body becomes a doorway into deeper layers of experience.

Compassion & Understanding: Alongside this awareness, compassion is essential. In this space, every part of you is welcomed—even those you may have learned to ignore or reject. Healing is understood as a process of supporting separate and often disconnected parts of your system to come back into communication, understanding, and harmony.

Discovery, Insight & New Ways of Being: With kindness and curiosity, you are supported to bring awareness to habitual ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving—allowing the core beliefs and formative experiences that shape them to be slowly discovered. As these processes come into awareness, they can be compassionately explored and reshaped—opening the door to more satisfying, realistic, and life-affirming ways of being.

Embodiment & Integration: Over time, the insights and shifts that emerge are supported to become lived, embodied experiences in your everyday life—so that new ways of relating to yourself and others can gently take root in how you move through the world.

Gentleness & Trust in Your Inner Wisdom: This work is guided by a deeply respectful and gentle approach. Nothing in you is pushed, forced, or overridden. Your pace, your boundaries, and your inner timing are honoured throughout. We trust in the innate wisdom of your body and your system’s organic movement toward healing and wholeness. Change is allowed to emerge from within, unfolding naturally when conditions of safety, presence, and compassion are in place.

How can this work support you?

This work supports you in meeting yourself with compassion, discovering who you truly are beneath old patterns, and growing into a more authentic and connected way of being—at your own pace, in your own way.

As awareness deepens, many people experience a gentle loosening of long-held emotional pain and habitual ways of responding. There is often a growing sense of clarity about who you are and what you need, along with more freedom to choose how you receive and respond to life.

Over time, this can bring a greater ease in everyday living, a deeper sense of inner safety, and more honest, nourishing, and fulfilling relationships with others and with yourself.
